Parents
Needless to say, without question, that would not be the case if it had not been for you, Dr. Fadigan, and your incredible Learn To Learn program. You know first hand the problems in school she was experiencing and we were ready to throw in the towel. I often times shudder to think where Caitlin would be today if you had not come into our lives. What we all found out was that ADHD cannot be successfully treated by drugs alone. Learn To Learn was the missing link that we had been searching for. Thank you again from Caitlin, Peggy and myself for giving us back our daughter. We will always love you for that and know that and you know there will always be a special place in our hearts for you. Somer Hollingsworth My grandson always struggled with math. He didn’t feel like he was successful and had low self esteem. I hired a tutor to get him through the 6th grade. But I just want to get him through the year, I wanted to find out WHY he wasn’t good at math. At first I was skeptical about Learn To Learn. It was such a foreign concept to me. But he took the evaluation and started the games, which he liked. He’s in the 8th grade now. He’s a year ahead in math. He does algebra and he won’t even be in high school until next year. His confidence is so much higher. I just wish I had known about Learn To Learn when he was younger. I don’t think we would have had these issues. You can put a Band-Aid on the problem or you can fix it. So if your child is having any problems in school, I would absolutely say start Learn To Learn and do it as soon as you can. Carmen Swanson My daughter is eight years old and autistic. Learn To Learn has made such a difference. This program is so smart. It’s gotten her little brain organized and integrated, ready to receive information. It’s like her little head turns on. She’s alive. Learn To Learn gets in there with laser precision. This program is so impactful. It’s made such a difference. There’s real change. Today my daughter’s a lovely little girl who just wants to be typical. And she’s doing very, very well. Thank you Dr. Fadigan. Dorothy Pasquinelli Before I brought Scotty to Learn To Learn, Scotty was wearing glasses, was prescribed Ritalin, had difficulties in completing school projects on time, and didn’t like reading after 15-minute intervals. Once Dr. Fadigan and Learn To Learn intervened, his progress has been substantial. Now Scotty doesn’t wear glasses or need them, has never had to take the prescribed Ritalin. I have seen a significant increase in his grades (currently enrolled in one of Tucson, Arizona’s top preparatory schools). Scotty frequently asks his teacher for additional reading, with Shakespeare being a favorite. He’s currently reading four novels a month. Dr. Fadigan, you just can’t know how frustrated and helpless I felt before I was introduced to the Learn To Learn program. I just couldn’t find a solution for the problems my son and daughter were having with school. I wish I could fully describe those feelings but only a parent that has experienced them would full appreciate what they are like. Of course, I was a little doubtful at first due to the many previous promises and failures we had experienced, but I am convinced now. There has been such turnaround in their schoolwork and our lives together. Scott and I are so grateful for the help. It has meant so much to all of us. Patty Nolen I met Dr. Fadigan in St. Louis several years ago at a district educational conference. I was impressed with his presentation on the Learn To Learn Program then and continue to be more impressed as the years pass. I have recommended the program to many schools and observed it in action and seen the results. It works! I later used it to help my son overcome some serious learning problems in school and the results were equally as impressive. We need innovative programs like Learn To Learn to help the many students that are struggling in school and can’t find the help they need. The Learn To Learn program provides these students with the information to understand why they are struggling and then provides them with the tools to fix the problems. It provides the students, the teachers and the parents with solutions in the form of tools to help their children learn better. I strongly recommend the program. Dr. Edward Haynie It breaks your heart to see your child try and try, and the more he tries, the more you feel he’s falling behind. I went from one thing to another trying different strategies, but nothing really helped. I even went to one of the major learning centers and tried to help him get caught up in his reading – spent a fortune. It helped a little, but nothing like Learn To Learn. Now that he’s in the Learn To Learn program, he’s reading a lot smoother. He’s been able to decode words better. He’s actually getting As and Bs now. And, best of all, he has so much more confidence. It’s so exciting. It’s the most overwhelming feeling to be able to see him come home from school and say, “I did this, and I did a great job.” It’s a true blessing. Terreessa Batchelor Before Learn To Learn I knew that my daughter was having difficulty with reading. And I couldn’t figure out what the difficulty was. I was lost, afraid. I didn’t want to be a failure as a parent. With Learn To Learn the improvement was dramatic over a short period of time. She was more comfortable reading. She enjoyed reading because she understood what she was reading. She went from a struggling 11-year-old to now she’s a full-time teacher. Labeling destroys children, their self worth, their motivation. Don’t give up on your child. I’m so grateful for Dr. Fadigan and Learn To Learn. Gail Anoka At age three or four, our son was energy uncontrolled – in constant motion and not necessarily good motion. By the third grade his school had labeled him as having ADD. We powered through third grade using discipline to make him do stuff he probably didn’t really want to do. By fourth grade the school was advising us to have him tested for ADD. But the capping moment was in fifth grade when he came home and reported that the class had voted him ‘class clown.’ It just broke my heart. We knew he had more potential than that. He’s not the class clown. That was the breaking point. We said we’ve got to spend whatever time, energy and money it takes to do this the right way. I’m so thankful we found Learn To Learn. Through the assessments, we discovered our son had an eye tracking problem and some other weaknesses, and got to work. We worked through the spring and summer. He enjoyed the games. We didn’t have to force anything. By the next year entering middle school, he was a new kid. He was unbelievable. He got straight As in sixth grade. It was the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done as a parent. Today he’s in college and doing well on his way to fulfilling his dream of becoming an engineer. He has a tremendous energy for learning now, so he and I both know he’s going to be very successful. Dean Fresonke
