I’m seeing students doing a better job of performing at ease. They seem not to have a panic attack when there’s an Algebra test coming up. They seem more comfortable with asking questions and answering questions. I just see a lot of confidence, a lot of self-esteem. Tammie Berry Without question, I have several students where the difference has been just dramatic. There are definitely letter grade or more improvements in these students’ achievement. Name withheld The more you talk with students, they’re like “oh yeah, I can do that better. I used to fall asleep when I read and now I can’t use that to go to bed at night.” They talk about remembering more things when getting ready for tests. The talk about being able to pull words out instead of having to read the whole paragraph over again – words just jump out at them. Name withheld For Learn To Learn students, there’s a big boost in self esteem, self confidence, the smiles on their faces when you say, ‘Wow, look what you did!’ They feel great.
